Starting January 1st, I am going to try and produce 365 pictures. Some of them may be photographic, some may be paintings and some may be the result of me + crayons/pencils/felt tips...
Anyway, watch-list, please join me in this as I am useless at self-motivation and have a competitive streak the size of the universe (as in, if I think someone's going to be better at doing something than me, I'll motivate faster and do it.)
If nothing else, it'll be fun and interesting to see who taps out first...

So those of you who follow my twitter and facebook will know of my latest thing which is a website called A thousand words. It can be found at www.athousandwords.org.uk and it's ready for beta testing.
What is it?
It's a site where users submit pictures and short stories are then submitted that are related to the picture (even if it's only tangentially). The whole thing is based on the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words... well, I'd like to hear them!
I'm not looking to replace Deviant Art, nor am I looking to create another LiveJournal or similar... it's just some fun for everyone to have writing short stories.

Across three websites, you are my sole piece of feedback for "The Nightmare". I think I made it a bit too brutal and twisty for the Labyrinth fandom regulars and have been taking the unusual silence as a compliment at this point. xDD Thanks so much for adding it to your favorites!!
I just really enjoyed reading it! I tend to look forward to the things you write because I like your writing style and while this was quite dark it was well written and really good.

Your words are so generous- thank you for them!! I actually decided to expand the story- there's a second chapter. I've no idea how far it will go, but I'm enjoying the path it's on. Here's hoping it lives up to expectations.
